The Field or the Pulpit?
An old friend from my high school days, Zac, had a great write-up about him in the Atlanta Journal-Constiution this past weekend. After a long stint away from the football field, and at the end of his seminary education, he was presented with the opportunity to kick again with the Atlanta Falcons and has been down there training for the past few months.
A recent injury makes his future with the NFL uncertain, but no one has more faith in God's guidance and will than my friend Zac. And as I told him in an email, there are no two path more holy and righteous that he could contemplate than the NFL and the ministry. :)

That's cool. I hope he makes the team. If he does, I'm going to be bugging you about tickets all season.

Cool. I can't wait for that to happen.
Besides, like you need me with all your connections. Goodness knows what kind of strings you pulled for that swingin' bachelor pad on the 35th floor.
Where's my mix?

It's right here in my bag awaiting my inevitable admission that, no, I'm never going to get around to writing a nice little note to send with it. Once I finally concede that, I'll drop it in the mail. Where's mine?
